She added: ‘I just love being on a boat, the thrill of not knowing what you’re gonna catch: the fight, the tug at the end of your pole, the energy and the excitement of being out there. I love everything about it.’
Since we started this page, a lot more people have started pages featuring girls who fish, and who can blame them? A lot of the time it’s questionable whether or not these girls have ever held a rod before. “Who cares?!” we hear you say… but there’s something special about girls fishing, and a woman who actually knows how to fish, versus a model who’s been handed a rod and a frozen fish and told to pretend she’s an avid angler. Maybe we’re just weird, but give us a genuine fisherwoman every time.

We are already into the new year, but the ‘Wild Dakota Girls Calendar’ is still available for purchase along with posters and koozys. Remember, a portion of the proceeds will go toward breast cancer awareness.
Knowing that South Dakota has many beautiful women that enjoy being outdoors, Konold decided to showcase those women doing what they love. But the idea didn’t start as the ‘Wild Dakota Girls Calendar’, it evolved into the project after getting some help from a family friend.
One of the things that I particularly like about being a freelance outdoor photographer, is the diversity of work and subject matter that I shoot. One week I might be photographing fitness and outdoor lifestyle for a client, another week, I’m documenting an alpine rock climbing trip, while another, I might be shooting chest deep powder skiing in the Canadian Rockies with my friends. And sometimes I get called to shoot something just a little bit different…
I’m sorry for the late response. We don’t have any overnighters available although that sounds like a fun thing to do. We recommend that our customers contact the Miss Hatteras. They are in Hatteras and if they don’t do it… More

Our Carolina-style charter boat plays a special role in the Oregon Inlet fleet being the only one licensed and built to take more than six anglers per Gulf Stream Charter. The 57-foot vessel was built by Capt. Allan with the help of his father-in-law, local legend Buddy Cannady of BC Boatworks. Open from cabin to stern on both sides, the Country Girl is very spacious. She is also safe and fast with all the amenities to make trips comfortable and fun.
I’ve been out on the Crystal Dawn many times to fish but this review is about the Sunset Cruises. They are so nice. You start in Pirate’s Cove and cruise out into the sounds. I always go to the upper deck to feel the wind…More

We went out on the morning fishing trip, it was quite disappointing. Out of almost 50 people on the boat, only 1 person caught a small fish to take home; everyone else got these tiny fish that had to be thrown back in the water. It takes almost an hour to the channels and the captain keeps moving the boat to various spots, still no fish was bitting. We went to various spots for like 10 -15 mins each, no much action anywhere. It was disappointing. Will not do this again.
